Buddha's teaching from programmer's view(conclusion)

Introduction

This writing is the result of studying Nikaya and Abhidhamma during the past more than five years by me(Soogar) who had participated in various programming projects as system and application programmer of IBM main frame environment at large scale EDPS Dept or System Integration company.

The sutta basis of this writing has already been put out through three postings as follows.

(1) paṭiccasamuppāda means nibbana‘s idiosyncrasy of building paccaya

(2) thought-system is built by nibbana through paṭiccasamuppāda

(3) thought(kamma) creates loka

Unlike the three postings above, I tried to use ordinary words as much as possible in this writing because I want to deliver the core of Budha's teaching even without the three.

Chapter 1. What is Vimutti?

1.1 world

question : Is the world existing one or non-existing one to him/her in a vegetative state in which no brain wave is detected at all and then no [thought] there is.

correct answer : The world is non-existing one for him/her in a vegetative state without [thought]. The [thought] should be needed before the world become an existing one for the people.

From now on, in order to avoid the linguistic confusion in this writing, the word of [world made by thought] will be used instead of the 'world' that is assumed as existing one regardless of the [thought].

1.2 [world made by thought]

question : world_A : the [world made by thought] created by the [thought] of middle aged adult. world_B : the [world made by thought] created by the [thought] of an elementary schoolchild. Are they, world_A and world_B same or not?

correct answer : If their [levels of thought] are not same, the two [world made by thought]s should be different.

1.3 [level of thought]

question : Which one is your choice that seems as 'correct'?

(1) The [Level of thought] can not be changed after birth because it is fixed permanently.

(2) The [level of thought] can be changed into good/bad level via good/bad education.

(3) There is unquestionable limitations for the promotion of the level by education alone. Although the [level of thought] can be dramatically increased after vimutti which means meeting and experience with the nibbana.

The correct answer is (3). The more the [Level of thought] upgrade, the [higher discerning eye] will be there and will be used to see the world which is assumed as existing one regardless of [thought]. The [higher discerning eye] will gradually lead you at the end of suffering.

1.4 [higher discerning eye]

The three elements which constitute the [world made by thought] are desire realm, form realm and formless realm.

(1) The desire realm of the [world made by thought] is the area related to the body and life. Such as food, clothing, shelter and health, etc.

(2) The form realm of the [world made by thought] is the area related to the mutual appellation. Such as father(mother)/son(daughter), elder brother(sister)/younger brother(sister), husband / wife, teacher/disciple, employer/employee, friend/fellow and Tathagata/layman etc.

(3) The formless realm of the [world made by thought] is the area related to the market. Such as Labor-market, political-market, real estate-market, product-market and derivatives-market etc.

People with [higher discerning eye] more wisely cope with the three elements of the corresponding world of the [world by thinking], then it is possible to see the end of the suffering of their life.

1.5 vimutti

The meaning of vimutti is that someone meet or experience the nibbana. (1) You can see the strategy of the nibbana after breakthrough the four-noble-truth. (2) You can see the tactics of the nibbana after breakthrough the twelve-dependent-origination. (3) You can see the technique of the nibbana after breakthrough the eight-fold-path.

Chapter 2. What is the [thought]?

2.1 [thought] as programs in state of running on computer

Every programs in state of running on computer must have three elements. I.e. (1) address space (2) input output area (3) program. [Thought] likewise must have three elements. I.e. (1) citta. (2) mano. (3) vinnana.

2.2 nibbana as programmer(AP+SP)

Three elements of [thought] are created and managed by programmer(AP+SP). While AP means application programmer and SP means system programmer, (1) address spaces are created and managed by SP, (2) input output areas are created and managed by AP, (3) programs are created and managed by AP and SP.

But, three elements of [thought] are created and managed entirely by the nibbana because the nibbana alone carry out the roles of AP and SP. i.e. citta, mano and vinnana are created and managed by the nibbana.

2.3 citta as address space on computer

The way how SPs manage address spaces is,

(1) In advance, they have made a plurality of address space which are different in quality. (2) They assign adequate address space to the program after taking into account the importance of the target business. For example, the most urgent program will be assigned with an address space of the best quality. In other words, the target(object) determines the address space of specific quality!

The way likewise how the nibbana manages cittas is,

(1) In advance, the nibbana have made a plurality of cittas which are different in quality. (2) the nibbana assigns adequate citta to the vinnana after taking into account the importance of the target(object). For example, the vinnana for vimutti(experiencing nibbana) will be assigned with a lokuttara(supermundane) citta. In other words, the target(object) determines the citta of specific quality!

Chapter 3. What is nibbana?

3.1 The strategy of the nibbana consist of 4 systematizing tasks.

All the computer programmers carry out 4 systematizing tasks for the system concerned of a company. The nibbana likewise carries out 4 systematizing tasks for the person concerned. The nibbana, (1) dukka : investigates suffering of the person concerned. (2) samudaya : analyzes suffering of the person concerned. (3) nirodha : designs the system for the person concerned to extinguish suffering. (4) magga : builds the system for the person concerned to extinguish suffering.

3.2 The tactics of the nibbana consist of 12 programming tasks.

All the computer programmers carry out 12 programming tasks for the system concerned of a company. The nibbana likewise carries out 12 programming tasks for the person concerned. The nibbana, (1) avijja : verifies the state of ignorance of the person concerned. (2) sankhara : grasps the intention of the person concerned. (3) vinnana : designs the program(vinnana). (4) nama-rupa : designs the process(nama) and data(rupa) (5) sal-ayatana : defines 6 input and output area. (6) phasa : sets the values of criteria for the start of the program(vinnana). (7) vedana : sets the values of criteria for the feeling among bitterness, fun and peace. (8) tanha : sets the values of criteria for the craving among sensual, existence and non-existence. (9) upadana : sets the values of criteria for the clinging among various reactions. (10) bhava : registers the program(vinnana). (11) jati : creates the execution file of the program(vinnana) as new version. (12) jaramaranam : repairs and/or deletes the program(vinnana) or though-system. The nibbana goes through sorrow, lamentation, pain and despair because of these endless tasks.

For your reference, when the nibbana repairs and deletes the thought-system or specific program(vinnana), it is done by selecting some part of the 12 tasks with through reverse direction in order.

3.3 The technique of the nibbana consist of 8 applying tasks.

All the computer programmers carry out 8 applying tasks for the system concerned of a company. The nibbana likewise carries out 8 applying tasks for the person concerned as follows. The nibbana, (1) makes the person concerned have a proper view. (2) makes the person concerned think properly. (3) makes the person concerned say properly. (4) makes the person concerned act properly. (5) makes the person concerned live properly. (6) makes the person concerned effort properly. (7) makes the person concerned remember properly. (8) makes the person concerned concentrate properly.

The word 'proper or properly' means that the thought-system is exactly reflected the state of the person concerned by the nibbana. For example, if the person concerned have not yet achieve the breakthrough of four noble truth, his view must be a view of ignorance.

word in closing

No pains, no gains! In order to completely eliminate the suffering,

next three efforts of the person concerned must be preceded.

(1) By that the person concerned achieves the vimutti, let the nibbana assign the lokuttara(super-mundane) citta to the program(vinnana).

(2) By that the person concerned thoroughly regulate sense organs, let the nibbana withhold the allocation of mano(input output area).

(3) By that the person remove the ignorance by the breakthrough of four noble truth, let the nibbana create the excellent program(vinnana).(fin)
